The Jim Taylor team took the initiative to call me and remind me I had a free oil change to redeem since I purchased my vehicle 5 months ago. I believe it was Shannon who got me scheduled right away. They did a full scan of my vehicle tire treads and undercarriage when I first arrived and went over the whole thing with me before getting me in and out. Fuel control went out, so truck literally would not start. It was a warranty issue due to a recall on the particular part involved. The GM towing situation was terrible, but once it got to Jim Taylor GMC they were wonderful. It did take some time to get it repaired (two weeks), but Stephen was nice, honest, and gave me realistic timelines by which I could manage the circumstances, which I truly appreciate. Once he could determine a repair date, he was accurate!
My experience purchasing a car from Jim Sjoblom was excellent and super easy. I'd recommend him and this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.
Buying my new truck here was a really good, local experience. My salesman was Brett Foreman, who is a veteran salesman and very knowledgeable at what he does. He was not pushy at all and helped me find exactly what I wanted in a vehicle. He took the time to explain all of the features included and how to operate everything. I was comparing a GMC Sierra to a Chevy Silverado at their other location in Rayville, and they had way better offers and incentives in Monroe.

2013 Sierra 1500 4x4 kept showing service 4x4 codes. Diagnosis was complicated resulting in rewiring the 4x4 electronics. Thank you Shannon and Stephen for sticking with it and finding the solution. You got me back on the road with no problems. You found the solution when nobody else could. You’re the best !
This was my first service since purchasing my 2026 AT4. I approached the service center Shannon welcomed me with a smile and gave clear instructions on the next steps. Everything was seamless. They got me right in and my wait time for completion wasn’t long at all. From the salesman I had to the staff in the service I’ve had the best experience at Jim Taylor-Monroe.

I needed repairs on my car from a rear end accident. We spoke with Randy in the body shop department and the process was smooth from the first day. He took care of communications with the insurance adjuster, and my car was repaired in about 3 days. The repairs and paint job looked amazing. Thank you Randy for making this process go so smoothly.
Free oil change, recall issue taken care of and we were provided a loaner vehicle as we only have one vehicle. All free of charge and all were very professional and friendly. Stephen was great! He even brought my vehicle to where I returned the loaner so I didn’t have to walk.

The person that waited on me (Stephen) deserve a 5 stars rating but the people that removed the plastic protection that I had over my control panel and also set my A.C. all the way down to 66 degrees, which I always turn off b 4 I power off my vehicle gets a 0 rating for messing with my control panel.
